Quality & Governance
Committed to Safe, Reliable and High-Quality Care
At Dream Team Care, quality and safety are central to the way we operate. We recognise the responsibility that comes with supporting people in their own homes and are committed to maintaining effective oversight of our services. Our approach to quality assurance focuses on identifying risks, monitoring care delivery, supporting staff, listening to feedback and making improvements wherever necessary.
How We Monitor Quality

Care Planning & Risk Assessments
We develop individual care plans and risk assessments to reflect each person's needs, preferences and circumstances. These are reviewed regularly and whenever significant changes occur.

Supervision & Spot Checks
We use supervision, observations and spot checks to monitor staff performance, reinforce good practice and identify learning needs.

Incidents & Continuous Improvement
We review incidents, concerns and identified risks to understand what happened, take corrective action and reduce the likelihood of similar issues occurring.

Care Records & Medication Audits
We monitor care documentation and medication records, where applicable, to help identify errors, omissions or areas requiring improvement.

Safeguarding
We are committed to protecting adults from abuse, neglect and avoidable harm. Staff are expected to recognise safeguarding concerns and report them promptly in accordance with our procedures.

Staff Recruitment & Training
We follow safer recruitment procedures and support staff through appropriate induction, training, supervision and competency assessments.

Complaints & Feedback
We encourage individuals and families to share their experiences, raise concerns and provide feedback. Complaints are taken seriously and reviewed to identify appropriate actions and improvements.

Independent Quality
Oversight
In addition to our internal management arrangements, Dream Team Care has appointed an independent governance and quality assurance consultant to provide additional oversight, professional guidance and review of our quality systems.
This arrangement supports accountability, continuous improvement and good governance.
